The new KTM 790 / 890 Adventure R / L TOURING Skid Plate offers superior protection for your exhaust system, engine casings, and water pump. Crafted from 8mm-thick HDPE plastic, this technical material is renowned for its extreme resistance to wear, impact, and abrasion.

Designed for demanding adventurers, this updated version builds on the best features of previous models and adds highly requested compatibility with the KTM center stand.

Design Improvements:

  • Enhanced Fuel Tank Protection: Offers better protection on each side of the fuel tank by covering the fuel pump. It features an integrated foam pad to prevent friction and paint damage, and has been redesigned for easier fitment around the KTM fuel pump.
  • Optimized Mudguard: Repositioned to the front of the plate to prevent melting, with a new shape that eliminates any interference with the front fender.
  • Reinforced Construction: Welds have been modified and reinforced using 4mm internal alloy plates.
  • Convenient Maintenance: A small hole on the right side of the engine guard allows hoses to pass through easily.

Tested and approved by experienced riders and long-distance travelers, this skid plate provides reliable protection for dual-sport use on the road, on the track, and off-road—even in the harshest environments.
